Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter – Probably the Best R/C Helicopter On The Market

This is a fantastic gift for the guys (or gals), it is a remarkable flying toy, and is recommended for those over fourteen years old – although as you will read further down in this review, several people feel that it can easily be controlled by someone younger than this.

This is modern technology in the palm of your hand! The helicoptor only measures around 7 1/2  inches long. It is fully functional and comes equiped with the very latest Gyroscope technology which is why it has become such a hot favorite within the remote control world.

You can charge the  Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter either from the usb cable, or from the controller itself (this uses AA batteries).

This model gives a lovely smooth flight, and although it is recommended for aged 14 and up, it could be controlled by someone youger (with the necessary supervision).  Just about everyone who has reviewed the  Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter  says that it is very easy to fly, and this is especially true for users that are making a comparison to other model helicoptors that they may have flown previosuly.

The helicoptor goes up, down, right, left forwards and backwards at a well balanced speed – not so slow that it becomes boring, nor so fast that you are not able to control it properly.

The helicoptor itself is made of metal and is very durable, and the rotor constructions means that the odd crash landing or hitting into walls does not spell disaster. One reviewer even commented that the  Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter is virtually indestructible.

The Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter has been designed for indoor use, and although some have stated they have used it outdoors, it must be reiterated that this is not recommended, especially as the helicoptor is so lightweight.

One little drawback that a couple of reviewers have mentioned is the speed with which is flies forwards, however, they have both overcome this by sticking a small paperclip to the nose to get a bit of extra weight.  Although to remember that it has been designed to fly at the speed it does so that it is easier for you to control and to stop it from being continually crashed into things when you have not got full control of it.

The charging with the USB port takes about 45 to fully recharge the helicoptor and this will buy you about 5 – 8 minutes of flight time (although this will of course depend on how aggressively you fly it).

Is the  Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter  worth the money?  Yes I would definitely say so, especially as you can buy from Amazon at less than $20

This is one gift that will bring hours of pleasure to the lucky person who receives it and bearing in mind the cost of it at the moment, and the fun it will give to the recipient it is certainly a gift worth looking at.
